FINISHES

The good thing about Mahogany is that if you let it weather naturally it will turn a silvery gray. To offer some type of protection I recommend using one of the commercially available deck finishes or oils. I have used  Penofin®  for teak and mahogany with great results. For a color I recommend a semi transparent stain that will not rub off on your clothing. Painting is also an option.
